Students' Achievements


Our students Munjuluri Abhinav and Kaavya Ravi of MBA first year have bagged the Runners-up prize in the HR Conclave on ''New Mandates for HRM'', organised by Srusti Academy of Management, Bhubaneswar on 4th February, 2017.

The students of our University have performed exceedingly well and have left their indelible mark by delivering top performances in competitions at premier B-Schools like IIM - Calcutta, IIFT – Kolkata, Start-up Weekend at XIMB University, IMIS and ASBM, Bhubaneswar.

SSU students participated at IIM-C and secured the top three positions in different categories at Secret Formula—a digital marketing event. The Final Round was the Paper Presentation Round, where each team had to devise a social media strategy for a company of their choice. Supreet and Hrucha secured the 3rd position for this event.
Sell—an on-the-spot marketing event saw Supreet securing the first position for selling the product ‘Nothing’. Similarly, ‘Ad Jam’ was also an on-the-spot ad pitch event which saw Deepankar, Lavita and Devvrat secure the 2nd position.

SSU students have also proved their acumen by winning ‘Campaign for a Cause’—part of the annual Confluence of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The trio of Supriya Patil, Ranjita Chatterjee & Preeti Beniwal bagged second place at the Campaign for a Cause on Farmers’ Suicide. A National panel of judges comprising top bureaucrat Bhargavi Dave, IAS, District Development Officer & Mr. Hiranmya Mahanta, Head of Srishti & Tech India selected these students. The prizes won by team SSU consisted of Certificates of Appreciation and a cash award worth ₹15,000/-. The awards were presented by Professor Ganesh from IIT Bombay.

Sharan Sivakumar of MBA 2014–16 took part in Viraasat, XIMB's classical music competition, co-hosted by SPIC MACAY and bagged the FIRST PLACE for his Mridangam performance. His 8-minute solo percussion performance was highly appreciated as both the judges and audience requested for an encore post the prize distribution ceremony!

MBA 1st year students had participated in Google Start-up Weekend at XIMB on 13th August 2016 and bagged the 1st & 3rd prizes.

Sri Sri University students participated actively in a Blood Donation Camp organised by the Commissionerate of Police, Cuttack.

Varshini Reddy and Grishma Putran secured the 1st prize for their paper presentation on Google Day, an event that was organized in collaboration with Google Developer Group (GDG), at Sri Sri University, Cuttack. It was streamed live in 32 countries and had more than 32,000 viewers online.
